Processing
Processing refers to the allotted time needed to produce and package an item before its ship date. Ready-made products are usually processed within 1-5 days. Made-to-order products are processed within 1-3 weeks (most clay items). The time needed to prepare an order for shipping may vary based on the product(s). Please check each individual product page for the estimated processing time before the ship date.

Shipping
Shipping cost is calculated at checkout dependent on the customer’s provided shipping location and the chosen carrier rates, as well as the weight of the product(s) being purchased.

Orders are shipped by the date stated on each individual product page. This timeframe does not reflect transit time, only the date by which the order is dropped off to the carrier by Valley + Vetiver.

If multiple items are ordered at a time, the ship date will go by the longest estimated timeframe of all the products purchased. For example, if one product estimates a ship date by 1-5 days while another product estimates by 1-3 weeks, the ship date for the combined order will be after 1-3 weeks. If you need the product with an estimated ship date of 1-5 days before the other product is ready to ship, then please make two separate order purchases.

Transit times may vary based on the product(s), location of destination, holidays, and delays with the carrier. Most domestic U.S. orders arrive within 3-10 business days after ship date, although transit delays may occur. Most international orders outside of the U.S. arrive within two weeks to two months after ship date, although transit delays may occur due to customs clearance.

Please make sure you provide the correct shipping address at checkout. Contact me within 24 hours of your purchase if you need to change the shipping address for your order, or would like to combine shipping for multiple orders. The shipping address cannot be changed beyond 24 hours after purchase is complete. Valley + Vetiver is not responsible for items shipped or delivered to an incorrect address which was provided by the buyer. The shipping address printed on each label is provided directly by the buyer. At no point does Valley + Vetiver change the address, unless formally requested by the buyer.

Once the item is scanned into transit with the shipping carrier, Valley + Vetiver is no longer responsible for the package(s). Damaged, missing, or stolen packages marked after they are scanned into transit are the responsibility of the carrier and the buyer. Please contact the shipping carrier for more information.

Route Package Protection
Valley + Vetiver automatically offers the purchase of package insurance through Route at checkout. To turn off the purchase of insurance, simply turn the toggle to the 'Off' switch. Route Package Protection covers lost, stolen, and damaged items that fit the criteria found on their policies page for little as $1.15. Lost, stolen, or damaged packages without the purchase of Route Package Protection will not be covered by Valley + Vetiver and is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please contact the carrier directly for lost or damaged packages if Route Package Protection was not purchased. Click here to submit a missing mail inquiry with USPS.

For those that purchase Package Protection, refunds and replacements will be handled through Route if a package is lost, stolen, or damaged. The buyer will need to file a claim directly with Route using the order number provided to the buyer's email address at the time of purchase, located in a separate email from Route. Valley + Vetiver is not involved in the claims or refund process, although I am happy to direct you to the right place. Valley + Vetiver is not compensated in any manner by the purchase of insurance, as Route is a third-party company.

International Customs and Import Taxes
International buyers are solely responsible for any customs and import taxes (including VAT) that may apply upon delivery. Valley + Vetiver is not responsible for charges and delays that may result from customs.
